Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We have zero interest in playing it through midfield.

It's very difficult if your midfielders actively move away from you when you're on it.

In fairness they've better that us through the middle so it makes sense to try bypass it.

The odd time an Irish player has the ball at his feet, there is no one showing for it. How the f*ck do you expect to hold onto the ball

Lovely ball by Bale there. Thought we started with a nice tempo but Wales have come well into the game now. We've let them into it really

Ronnie Whelan is, and had always been, an awful commentator.

I'd hate to be a right back playing against James McClean.

He looks like he's just itching to polaxe someone in every 50/50!

    No really, he actually can't.

Bale is in Stephen Ward's pocket if anyone is looking for him.

Can McClean keep that intensity going? He's like a man possessed.

    Referee is a something something.

Wales "trying" more, we're in control for a 0-0 for now.

Not far away there. I still believe this group of players can produce enough to get a goal or two

    I guess Hendrick heard me.

Either that or he's just a genuine midfielder and saw the other jokers were doing their impressions of Anne Frank

So frustrating watching whelan in the build up to that last attack, pointing at player in possession where to pass the ball whilst making no effort to move into a position to receive it himself

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,500 ✭✭✭✭fullstop

I think some of the punts forward have been less "ala Spain" and more like a rugby team who refuse to play through hand.
