I'd a similar experience on a Vespa PX200 on the M50 one morning.
They're clocked at 120kph but with a good tail wind the need goes right to the stop. Well one morning I was literally getting fvcked up the M50 by a tail wind, I could see a biker catching up in my mirror but thought nothing of it until I drew alongside me, pointed down to his own clocks and gave me the thumbs up and a big nod
