Thunderbird mail merge

    I m trying to setup a mailmerge for a local club that I'm involved with, in thunderbird & a gmail(paid version) account.

    I have the gmail account configured in thunderbird, and the mail merge addon installed.

    If I create a csv with a single entry (name & email) thunderbird will read the csv, and send the mailmerge as expected, {{name}} entry is read, and put into the body of the email sent.

    If I add a few more entries to the csv file, the mailmerge does not send (no errors).
    A mail is created in the templates folder, with the {{}} wildcards, but nothing is put in the outbox.

    I have searched google, but can't find anything similar :(

    any help appreciated :)
