Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I bought an aeropress yesterday for €35. Makes a lovely cup!! Maybe that and a nice bag of coffee from one of the specialist coffee shops...3fe or Clement and Pekoe?

Thanks sorry I should've added that he already has one plus an nespresso machine. A nice bag of beans and a nice mug set or something could do.

Do you know if they grind their own coffee? and do they already have their own press?
If they are an enthusiast they may already have their own equipment.
An electric bean coffee bean grinder maybe?
Debenehams have a few things that might suit

Yeah they already have a grinder and they also have a handpresso so he's well equipped when it comes to coffee making.

Thanks so far for the suggestions guys.

I'd suggest checking out the coffee angel website coffeeangel.ie
At least it will give you some other ideas such as V60 and accessories, jugs, swan neck kettle etc. they have a couple of shops in town to see then. Other places to check out are Kaph on Drury st, Fallon & Byrne have some bits and pieces,  Clement & Pekoe is on Sth William street, or 3FE on Sussex terrace beside O'Brien's.
