Been following from the West Coast, a performance and a half, massive massive well done Alek. A friend called in earlier and I said to him that I needed to check on some nut job who was Everesting and he said he'd been following you too - you're a legend .

You have to commend the support that total strangers give each other here on Boards too. Well done to all involved

You couldn't be more right. Alek had great support from boardsies all day. When I went back up in the evening,Alek was the first one I seen descending and I got a bit worried as I seen nobody for 10 or more seconds. Then 6 guys followed him down. Once I seen that I knew he would complete it.

Crazy or not, I don't know if this ride could have been finished, or finished in such a great mood, without all the people who were there and those supporting me telepathically. I was just doing my mundane and pointless job, but you were actually great.
