Kind of. Once you're logged in you're given a session cookie. It could expire after you've started writing something and before you actually post it, meaning there is a possibility of it making you be logged out when you actually hit the post button. This could also be made more possible if you're using any kind of privacy mode to limit or forcifully expire cookies earlier.

Cookies are managed client side, including their expiry, so it couldn't be tracked from the server side.

Because the client obeys the expires time on the cookie and no longer presents it to the server when the post is sent.

With not been familiar with the workings of Cookies How do I see what is the expiry time of the Cookie allocated to the post. As far as I can understand with what your saying Its the Cookie that determines the expiry time of the post Why cant Boards It system determine the expiry time of the Cookie allocating a reasonable time for posting

The client presents the cookie which is checked to show login status. If the cookie expires, the client doesn't present it at the time of the post, and the server considers you as logged out at that point. It's a cookie per user and their session, rather than per post.
