Your expeerience of Eir 4g coverage

    Recently switched to 4g on Eir, but finding 4g coverage to be patchy at best - mostly using in Dundalk, and generally only getting 4g while outside (never indoors, and rarely while sitting in the car)..

    How would you rate Eir 4g coverage?


    I'm considering switching to Vodafone,,,

    I have checked this for you on the following link https://www.eir.ie/ourmobilenetwork/  and I can see 4G is available in the Dundalk area. Unfortunately, like all mobile networks, we can’t fully guarantee indoor coverage. Coverage in your house can vary depending on the type of building. 

    If you would like to PM me your full name and account number and I can check to see if you are on the best package to avail of 4G.

    Thanks Leanne, but your colleague Sheena already helped me with issues regarding phone settings when my contract switched to 4g, so I'm assuming it's just a case of poor coverage..
