    Hi folks

    picked this up today from Smyths

    Just wondering if the fan noise normally this loud ?

    It seems to do it under load, then is quiet then noisy again...

    Is this normal?

    No, it's definitely not normal.

    Bring it back into Smyths to exchange it.

    Bring it back. I got one last week & there's not a peep out of it.

    I got one at Christmas and there isn't a peep out of it either. Definitely bring that back

    I ended up getting mine replaced by Microsoft. Nothing worse with a noisy fan especially when watching stuff on Netflix etc. The replacement is quiet as a mouse now

    Brought it back to smyths today, there were fab, replaced the console and it's as quiet as a whisper.
