Stupid Windows 10 VPN question

Hi everyone,

This is probably a very stupid question, but it's bugging me. I use a vpn connection for work sometimes, so I connect and it's fine.

However when I go to disconnect, there doesn't seem to be an option to do so all of the time, sometimes there is a disconnect option, others there is not and I literally have to restart my laptop to disconnect.

Anyone any idea why this is so?

Just the windows vpn?

have you tried:

SHIFT + (left)CLICK the VPN icon in the settings page, it will show more buttons one of which is "disconnect"

Im guessing the disconnect button is missing from the network panel on the right of your screen?

Have you tried the network settings dialogue? That has the VPN subsection which definitely should have the option.

Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Centre -> Change Adaptor Settings -> Right click the VPN -> Disconnect.
