NYC That isnt sports

Hey guys,

Off to NYC in July and we are looking to book a few events before we get over there. Now we've gone through the sports, music doesn't seem to be much on (at least not yet) So any ideas on what to do/see? The regular tourist stuff museums and sights we will go to on a as and when basis so looking for something a little outside the box.

It's based in an old warehouse and it's roof terrace has a view of the Manhattan Skyline.

There's also a cool outdoor food market in Williamsburg called Smorgasburg which also has awesome views of Manhattan.

Check out the DUMBO too...really anything in Brooklyn is exactly what you're after if you are done with the whole Times Square touristy crap.

It's in a nice part of the city too so might be a few other things to see and do in the area.

July? It'll be hot, go to the beach. Coney Island, its in brooklyn. There's beaches and a funfair. In July it may be best to avoid the weekend.

I've been to Coney island. It's a dump. Think of Bray and then reduce your expectations.

I was in Coney Island last night and it's not a dump. Go in the summer and you will enjoy it.
