Schemes to help me buy? (not new/self build)

Hello all! I have my eye on a little house. I can afford to get a mortgage if I can get the income tax back from the Help to buy scheme. Problem is it isn't new or going to be a self-build. Question is, does anyone know of any other schemes that can help out in this situation? Many thanks! Niels
