I don't believe in soulmates but I do believe there are people that you very well suited to and it seems unlikely that everyone who marries someone from the same town as them found one of those people who they share excellent compatibility with.

Seems likely* to me. Probably have similar backgrounds, experiences, social groups, cultural references, values. I mean, in my experience most people are generally able to get along well, add in a lot of shared experience and the likelihood of compatibility goes up surely?

*not that absolutely everyone who marries someone from home is very compatible with them, but most people.

Yes, and even more now after almost a decade together!

Although went through a blip a few years ago for a few months - I call it my 'fat phase' cos of my comfort eating but soon realised it was affecting the relationship and I made changes.

The ability to make each other laugh loads and have fun together is top of the list but fancying each other is nearly as vital.

It's important to make a bit of effort in looking good for each other like you would have done in the early stages of the relationship.

I do fancy my other half. He's not the textbook definition of what I would look for aesthetically, but he has features I love and I think he's very handsome. My emotional attachment definitely feeds into that, but I've always loved his eyes, smile, hair (and bum!) I also love the ratio of hair to bare skin across his body. It's perfect XD
