In my travels have met some small SME's who are having consultants suggest testing for imbalanced loads across phases as a way of saving money.
This is being bundled in with
    1. Breaches of MIC
    2. Power factor issues
    3. Voltage optimisation
    4. Phase imbalance
I understand the value proposition in addressing the first two SIZE="1"]as they are on the bill ![/SIZE, less so for Voltage optimisation and know nothing about no 4, other than the risk of overloading a particular phase.
    Thanks as always.

    I would agree.

I would say 1 is the main contributor to a bill.

2 can be justifiable if they have no PFC in place.

    The rest is spoof.

In these cases there has to be justifiable payback.
