Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How much is Lukaku supposed to be worth again? Hasn't been in the game today. Think this will end 4-1.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17,388 ✭✭✭✭Jayop

I wonder if Everton will be as dirty mid week and injury some United players

Really? That's the level you go to?

The only Liverpool player that's been injured is Mane and that wasn't even a foul

Dirty? A few hard tackles but dirty is ott. Liverpool are too soft. The RoI in the first 60 minutes against Wales were dirty.

The neutrals are out in full force here, suppose if Liverpool aren't losing they'll have to find something to talk about.

More to see how United fans would react to the tackles going in on their players like they are today

Any reason why Everton decided to rest Lukaku?

    Trent wants that goal

Probably want to make sure that he passes his medical in the summer when they cash in.

Dropped him as my fantasy football captain for today

What? I said the Barkley one was a red and was bad. I don't think the Williams one was as bad as it looked.

Do I need to start crying and humming ynwa or something? What do you need us to say?

Origi has been great since he came on, hope he continues to improve.

Lukaku has scored nearly half his goals after the 80th minute this season.

I'm not neutral. I wanted Liverpool to lose and this result disappoints me.

Koeman doing superb work though at Everton, bringing a bottom half team to 7th is some achievement...

I think they know that was implied, but anything to get up on the outrage brigade

Can tell Neville has enjoyed being present for such a wonderful performance.

Had plenty of goes at him in the past but Can has really stepped it up the past few games.

Physically by the players and figuratively by the commentators.

    Just that.

The other sub that impressed me has been that Valencia lad for Everton but Origi has played really well.

If we score another seven here we'll go 2nd.

We are more likely to drop points against Bouremouth next game.

Could see himself in the United job after Mourinho's trademark third season implosion.

Who would you go for when the time comes? Koeman is a contender in my opinion. Allegri is another one.

Especially with no Mane, Lallana or Henderson.

    Weakest squad in the league.

Never understood why he made that move. Can't see Everton making it to the top four. He should have stayed at Southampton and waited for a move to one of the big hitters. He has great potential as a manager. I think he'll end up managing at the top level in Europe.

    9th gap over Arsenal
Have to be happy considering they always end up in top 4.

Kicking the ball out there was the worst decision Can's made all day.

3 points today but might be an expensive 3 points if Mane is out for an extended period. Squad is already stretched thin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Everton with their typical showing today. They get up for two games a season, never win either of them, and end up making an embarrassment of themselves focusing on hurting opposition players more than playing ball.

Not sure which I am enjoying more, the result or the sheer bitterness of Neville's commentary

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

    Joint second now.
Would love to see us win 5 in a row and for Chelsea to hit the bad run we all think they will.

Probably sick of Liverpool buying his best players. Never going to happen at Everton.
