Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Everton fans not even waiting to boo?

One team played ball and the other tried to kick their way to a result. Extremely pleasing result but manes injury is a big worry.

Not sure which I am enjoying more, the result or the sheer bitterness of Neville's commentary

When he gets the train home later he'll be the lemon in Lime Street.

How Everton finished that game with 11 men still on is crazy.

Who would you go for when the time comes? Koeman is a contender in my opinion. Allegri is another one.

Not for this thread really but honestly I have no idea at this stage. I'd pray we wouldn't go for the likes of keoman though.

Lovely win. Forever in our shadow.

    Joint second now.
Would love to see us win 5 in a row and for Chelsea to hit the bad run we all think they will.

Amazing considering many people were laughing at us after our results in January.

Ad from Sky about Neville and Carragher's documentary "Life in the Middle," it's about referees though, not Everton.

Deligted to be give the bitters a lesson.

Horrible team they cant beat us so try kick us off the pitch

Spurs city and Chelsea have 2 games in hand and united and Arsenal have 3 in hand on us. Points on the board over games in hand yeah but we've a long way to go.

Thought Lucas was the MoTM today. He was everywhere and broke up so much of Everton's play.

Yes but they all have games against each other so some/all of those will drop points in those games.

I lost all hope. Was very hard to see an end to the poor results but thankfully seem to be getting back on track.

Lovren MOTM for me, serious signs of a proper CB breaking out there.

this! ref should've had more cards out earlier, barkley should've been off

Would've given it to Can myself. Need to get that contract sorted.

Never a doubt about the result. Normally struggle against smaller teams who defend and pack the box but Everton couldn't even manage that and started with the sole game plan of kicking our players off the pitch.

    A victory for football.

Klopp's Liverpool really had a licence to kill today and with Countihno's thunderball of a shot showed he's back on form.
Liverpool really starting to play into a bit of form now and while they may feel like the world is not enough now, the spectre of the other teams games on hand means the team may die another day, that's a slim quantum of solace for bitter hole Koeman.
Hopefully the dr says no in regards to Mane injury. Speaking of which, Klopp really has had the goldeneye in regards to summer signings this year.

Koeman says he's really proud of his team today, probably in the dressing room celebrating Mané's injury.

Small club mentality at its finest with koeman saying that

    Koeman proud of his team.

He has come across as a real aggressive gobsh1te this week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

Koeman's cracking up. Making himself look very very silly here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Koeman has just done exactly what Chris Coleman did, asked about Barkley's foul and responds with "Yeah what about Lucas' fouling" and "but we weren't animated like the Liverpool bench."

It is an improvement on there last visit to Anfield.

Koeman moaning and complaining about injuries during the int break and then says he's proud of his team after a hack job performance........a perfect fit for Everton tbh

I normally have a soft spot for the blues what with herself being a reformed bluenose but Everton were a defensive shambles today. Long gone are the days where football was primary for both teams and respect was evident from both teams approaches.

Milner was superb today, never put a foot wrong.

Special mention to Origi, must gif that goal and send it to Funes Mori.

I said it at the time what happened that month was the perfect storm lots of games and a few injuries for a small squad. Was very confident things would turn as a lot of home games were coming up and we have been consistently good at home. The problems are away games against certain teams. Stoke and wba away are going to be really difficult games and I wouldnt be surprised if we drop points in both those games. 15 pts from the last 8 games should be enough for top 4.

Ross Barkley is a proper scumbag. Has a really nasty side. The fact he's gone to **** too is a side issue

Haha Barkley was poor yesterday but he's be excellent since the turn of the year. He doesn't normally put in bad challenges either, admittedly though, in the last two derbies he has put a couple of awful tackles in.
