    If the bullet has reduced velocity then it has reduced range but more importantly reduced expansion or no expansion on its target, so it is ineffective.

    Wouldnt a .22lr be better at the ranges where a subsonic .22 would be effective?

    Confused.

    Its heavier than a .22lr so will hold more energy at longer ranges.

    Yes same weight as a CCI Maximag. Possibly the same bullet without the jacket.

    I stand corrected, I didn't notice that on the spec.

    It has to be April Fools stuff given the date, etc.

    Essentially what they have done is make a 22lr in a magnum case. The specs and ballistics are almost identical as can be seen below.

    The only reason for using one is if you have a WMR and want a quieter round, but expect .22lr performance from your WMR. Compare the performance of these new bullets to standard WMR (versus .22lr) and you'll see the difference.

    Your probably right because it says a .22wmr is as loud as a .357 and you don't need ear defenders with a .22wmr.
