Maternity leave

Hi all If your maternity leave starts on a Monday does it finish on a Sunday or Saturday? My wages are over 14 days tues-mon but I think maternity benefit is based over 6 days mon-sat? Do I start unpaid leave on a Sunday? Or a Monday? Thanks a million.

I'd have thought if it started on a Monday it'd finish on Sunday with a return to work Monday. So if you are going on unpaid leave would that leave not have to start on the Monday too?
