    Only 50 seconds separated 1st and 2nd place in the men's race. It must have been a pretty exciting race from looking at the time checks taken over the marathon.

    In the age groups, Aileen Flynn has been leading F40-44 category since the start of the run. Hopefully she holds on.

    That's some racing. I see Ryf won too. James Cunnama hasn't had a great run of it the last few years

    23rd femaie overall - fairly impressive. Can't be easy training for an IM in April in South Dublin. Assume she does most of her biking on the turbo.

    Ryf wins with a half crocked back. you can almost tell the part of the bike ride where it loosened out after the swim.

    with rinnie out pregnant, (not that i think she has the beating of ryf any more anyway) the womans race in kona, barring an injury, looks like a complete formality
