Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Surprised there's no match thread yet.

This could be a cricket score if Arsenal stay this open.

Navas to get sent off if he isn't moved from right back, already on a yellow and would've given away a penalty too if Monreal wasn't offside.

I think the big debate for me that I've seen so far (because let's face it, Arsenal being poor isn't news) is, is Raheem Sterling any better than Theo Walcott or is he just utilized better and playing with better players?

Don't judge Sterling on this game alone. He's pretty much been City's Player of the Season.

    Xhaka never learns.

    Neville is pathetic.

Sorry, my post might read wrong, I suppose it should read more like, given a chance and proper direction, playing in a good well organized side, could Walcott be up to Sterling's level? He has all the attributes, despite his poor decision making at times.

Coquelin and Xhaka both booked now. Be amazed if they both last 90

Sanchez in mid flight when Sterling connected.

    Yes. Go on Theo/

Awful defending form the ex-Arsenal man.

Typical city defending, Walcott with the equaliser.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,384 ✭✭✭✭Utopia Parkway

That was very bad defending. About 3 Arsenal players could have scored there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,111 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

That didn't last long. Any pressure at all, and they just fold.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,249 ✭✭✭limnam

    That didnt last long

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

My god that didn't take long. City just turned it back on immediately. Tyler and Neville couldn't sound less interested.

    Embarassing from Arsenal.

It's a clichy by now. Counter strike.

Tyler needs to retire along with Wenger.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,111 ✭✭✭✭Quazzie

For anyone who wants to see what it's like to be a lazy player who doesn't care about being a winner, rewind that back and look at Xkaka in the build up. Atrocious.

Tyler and Neville are actually hilarious. Clowns the pair of them.

Charlie Adam would be more effective in midfield than Xhaka.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

2nd goal gets worse from an Arsenal perspective every time you see it. Coquelin, Xhaka, Ospina and Mustafi all shocking.

Aguero misses an absolute sitter at one end, Arsenal go up and score a set piece at the other. Not a chance he's still the first choice striker next season.

Well he's not at fault for organising a pisstake of a defence

But he is at fault for missing good/very good/great chances over and over again. I've never seen a team that create so many great chances/situations and score so few from them. Aguero isn't the only one at fault but he's the main culprit.

Aguero misses another header. Good chance.

KdB should be booked for calling for the yellow. Hate seeing that in soccer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Coquelin should be booked for committing a cynical foul to stop an attack.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

That's an incredible decision not to book Coquelin. He's spoiled a promising attack, obvious yellow card.

Didn't John Stone do the very same about 15 minutes ago?

    Navas is unbelievably bad

Enjoyable match, good football. For City it's an alright point, could have been 3 if they were just a bit sharper in front of goal but that's really been the story of the season, that and some crazy errors. The football though is so encouraging and downright fun to watch as a football fan that, when it does all come together at City, it'll be something special.

I really dont mind it. Players say much worse to refs. Waving a card isnt bad. He was right aswell. I hate seeing cynical fouls unpunished more

Agreed. Even as a City fan, I hate seeing that and can't defend it. It should be a yellow card offence. Then again, Marriner would probably have let him off with it, even if it was a mandatory yellow card. Marriner had a poor game today. Clear penalty denied to us yet again at the end.

Surely that's the perfect out for him. A bit of spin about how it hurts him to see fans fight like that, especially with him as the point of contention so he will step aside. Everyone saves face.

Why? He finished above Liverpool in 8 of the last 10(i think) seasons

It's acceptable for Liverpool fans to laugh at Arsenal fans apparently :pac:

As an Arsenal fan I think its acceptable that any fan from any team can have a right aul laugh at the shambles surrounding my club....thats what ive resorted to,just laugh, its a joke at this stage.

For the obvious reason that there appears to be discontent amongst the squad and fans, and results are being affected.

    Hardly rocket science.
