Any good walks east of Galway City ?

Heading down to Galway next weekend with a few lads and we are looking for a nice 3 hour walk before going for a few refreshments afterwards? Looking at Portumna Woods at the moment ? Is there any other good walk in Co Galway that someone could recommend? Would prefer somewhere on the east of Galway, rather than having to…
