Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pin hole in Dishwasher Floor

Have an integrated Bosch Dishwasher - don't have model to hand.
Get an E15 error, had plumber look at it a few months ago and after 3 visits it turned out to be a tiny pin hole near the filter that was causing the dishwasher to leak a little.
Machine will do a bit of a clean and then stop.

Plumber stuck a very thin piece of steel over the hole with some superglue, he did mention a possible more permanent solution but I've forgotten what he said as it was 2 months ago. Machine worked fine for the 2 months but the sliver of steel has washed away and same problem again.

Any suggestions for a more long-term solution other than buying a new machine? It's well out of warranty and Bosch won't accept it's a design flaw or poor quality steel used in manufacture.

    How old is the dishwasher?
Do you know how it go the hole, is there rust there, metal shouldn't just get a hole in it.
Do you have a picture of it?

I would think you could fill the hole with an epxoy glue if it is that small, need to make sure you get something that can handle the high temperature water

Use an epoxy glue or putty instead, better than superglue in that kind of environment. We did the same on an old dishwasher we had and it lasted for years, until something else went wrong with it.

Epoxy glue! That must be what he said. There's no rust visible and it really is a tiny hole. Dishwasher is 7 years old, works fine other than this issue.
Will try doing that myself, thanks.

Many years ago,I had a Mk 3 Escort with a pinhole in the fuel tank.

My Dad (ex-motor Mechanic) said that a self tapper screw would sort the problem out.

    It did!:)
