    Hi

    We are in the middle of a new self build, windows and doors now in and electrician first fix on Thursday!! just wondering if anyone can recommend the cheapest place for Air Tightness tape for the windows? What costs etc are involved?

    Have you got an assigned certifier?
    You need to check what air tight layer you are using and ensure the tape is certified to work with that layer.

    For example, the saint goblin lifetime warranty is based on their supystem being used. If you use isover membrane and then a cheap tape from woodies for example. The warranty is null and void. The DoP may also state that for it to be effective, it needs to use a particular tape.
