how to de-shine new poly trousers

basically, bought a pair of navy combatty/work pants online. got them today. they are very shiny..look like they've been given a right going over by an iron. it is 65% polyester. anyone have any tips on how to get the shiny look off the trousers?? keep in mind they are span new..so maybe its not possible?
