    Hi,

Anybody have any thoughts on this vacuum:

    http://www.lidl.ie/en/Offers.htm?action=showDetail&id=53660#

Is it worthwhile buying or just a waste.
From other websites seems like its Li-ion 7.4V, 1300mAh - I don't really know if this is good or bad.

I'd would not be for vacuuming the car really, just for general spills/crumbs and quick tidy ups around the house

Don't bother. I've gone through more cheapo Lidl/Aldi handheld vacuum cleaners than I care to remember. It tends to be the switches that start going first, followed by the motors, none of them have lasted much more than 18 months or so.

I've now got an AEG one now, much better built, and more likely to last ...

Thanks. So you don't recommend lidl or Aldi then.

Aeg one looks decent alright. But nearly 3 times the price too ;)
