Postgraduate loan for study abroad

    Hi,

I'm currently coming to the end of the first year of a two-year Masters in Europe, and I'm probably going to need a loan for the second year. Would the fact that my studies are abroad get in the way of me being able to get a postgrad loan from BoI? I would imagine it makes sense to take out the loan in Ireland because that's where my guarantors live and work, and I'll probably be back here after I finish.

    Thanks.

    Good Afternoon CardShuffle,

Thank you for getting in touch with us here on Boards.ie.

As each application is seen on a case by case basis it would be best to speak to one of our lending advisers for some further clarification. As the Postgrad loan is generally applied for in branch, if you'd like to send us a PM with your name and contact number we can have a Student adviser contact you to discuss it further.

To send a PM please make sure you have signatures set to display in your control panel settings. Then click in the link in my signature below to send your message.

    Thanks,
    Elaine
