Publishing with createspace

    Hello all,not sure if correct place to post.
    got some great advice from alfa beta on a few things here,top man.going to get his ebook over the weekend and have a read.

    Anyway,things I need help with.


    It's a children's book and I'm going to publish it on createspace.

    If it is for sale on amazon can i sell it myself on my own website?

    (We are building a character out of this book,and a brand.there will be products eventually)

    Or can I just promote it?

    Or is it just a publish on createspace,buy author copies and try my heart out to get it into shops and sell on my own website?

    If anyone has done this,how much is it to buy your own book?my book will have 8 pages and really really good illustrations.(not done by me!ha)

    I've been Googling like a mad thing and can't find answers,if anyone can help it would be great.

    I have another few written too so will be doing them on createspace too.
    It's the illustrations is time consuming see.
