Anybody know who I should contact about the Waterford Glass Pension Fund.
I worked for the company for 6 years until 1982, and paid into pension???

Don't you have any documents from your time there and your pension pay out?

I didn't look for anything, just thinking now as I reach 60, maybe there's something there.

That fund went belly up, hence the court case which was taken to Europe and won by the employees. So you might be best off to contact Mercer in Dublin I think.

As "Aquos76" said the fund went belly up, but if your name was still on the list as being in the fund, then you may have some entitlement to compensation arising from the court case.

I know every effort was made to contact all eligible parties while the case was
progressing and funds were set aside in the event of people coming forward so
check with the Unite office in Keyser Street. (051)875438 or ring
Mercer (01)6039700 and ask for the Waterford desk.

Thanks for the info, I will follow it up. It's a long shot, but who knows.
