Stopping off in town later. I always locked the bike in the office but we've moved now.

Is Drury street Car park safe or is there some where safer?

It's safe enough, wife has left electric bike there a few times without issue.
You could use Cyc-lok in Pearse Station - definitely safest option

You could try the paid lockers in Pearse Street Station.

Are these still only available as a long-term contract, or can occasional users use them now?

Apparently you can use them by the hour or by the day in Pearse street and Heuston. If you subscribe or something the rate is likely cheaper. There are 2 different companies providing lockers. Cyc-lok do the daily/hourly ones. Bike Lockers are the ones you can rent for an extended period.

The sub ones are €90 PA, the new lads are €1/day.

Drury Street is pretty safe, never had an issue, only thing is opening hours.
