Hi I wanted some advice. I was in a minor accident recently in my mothers car (the insurance says I am insured to drive as I am over 25). I rear ended a car. It happened just before a round about. Blackbird, it is quite possible that their client completely changed his story when reporting the matter to his insurance company and they have a duty to investigate and defend their client, as you would expect your insurance company to do the same, if somebody made an accusation against you. I'm not talking about your specific case, as I don't know the full facts (from both sides), but that type of scenario happens all the time.

I'm not connected to AXA, never have been, but I find them to be one of the most efficient and fairest insurers when it comes to claims
