Anywhere relatively safe to lock up a bike on a Saturday evening/night in the city centre? Can you use qpark grad parade to stash a bike at all or something like that!

There's practically no secured/sheltered bike parking in the city centre, lots of nice new bike lanes is great but if you don't have somewhere to secure your bike for an extended period it's pretty pointless. Would be great if the city owned multi-storey car parks offered some facilities.

The Bridewell has a rack outside it as well.

I never have a tasty new bike for locking up in city centre overnight, always a banger.
And always where there are other bikes there already. Safety in numbers.

Yeah its mad the car parks dont have some sort of place to stash a bike. When I lived in Limerick one of the car parks had bike lockers, where you're whole bike is in its own self contained unit, so it rules out vandalism too, which on a saturday night I'd be more wary about. There was even enough room to get changed in them too if you needed to. Very handy.
