    Hi everyone,

Wish to know- is there any chance to sign up with Go Car Dublin if there are penalty points on the licence? Just want to know before.
It says in T&C on website- ".. Acceptance of any licences with penalty points are subject to GoCar CarSharings discretion.."
Did someone got successful registration with some points on icence or that means not worth of trying.

P.S. Dont say try and will see, as im waiting for wages to complete registration.

    Thanks

Probably depends how many points and what they were got for, someone with 6 points is unlikely to be accepted, someone with points for drink driving the same, someone with wreckless driving the same.

Im not sure they can see for what those penalty points are. If im right they will check is your driving clean, and if not how many points are there. I have 5 and its not for reckless driving or drink driving. For drink& drive there is ban instead of points

When I joined (very early on... one of the first 30 members) they're insurance company allowed a maximum of 2 points.

Since then, they've managed to explain their business model to the insurance company better and got more lenient terms.
