Hi all. First post so apologies if I get the procedure wrong. I wanted to sense check something here with some of you. Not yet divorced but paying substantial enough child maintainence for my son who lives 3 hours drive away. I see him twice a month for the weekend because I can't afford to give what I am and pay for the bill petrol bills to do the round trip twice in the weekend I have him. Should travel costs be a factor in how much I pay?

Your entire set of finances is a factor.  If you have no money then you can't pay anything.  Do you pay money by order of the court?  If so then you apply to "vary the order".
