Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    This is already just awful.

    Lucky offside call.

Doesn't mean individual players can't get tired occasionally, especially ones with the work rate of Firmino.

Firmino let the standard slip against Bournemouth. Klopp must have noticed something small but vital maybe, something that cost us. Letting someone have an easy time at anytime during game is not on, they all do it though, when it's affecting us though it becomes important. I dunno where Firmino was for the two goals we let in on Wednesday, if he played a role early in build up//

No doubt Stoke are going to be totally up for this and raise their game against us which seems to happen to a lot of the 'lesser' teams that play against us.

Lucky how? It was clearly the correct decision.

Shaqiri's probably a better player than anyone starting for us today.

Ah come on, 3 mins in and Liverpool hardly had the ball yet.

    PLay !
Klopp wants us to pass, to play, to contain.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

3 overhit balls to Origi so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

I'd already take a draw here. The signs are not good so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Very open for a defensive lineup. very open .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

Commentator has mentioned the 6-1 game 3 times in 8 minutes.

Passing has been poor so far.

I really don't see why people are so negative here. Nothing has gone wrong.

    Give them time to settle.

First attack from TAA and that's a great cross.

How hard can it be to pass to a Liverpool player, so be calm .
Best thing you can do when you receive ball is to freeze, Barnes like. No one touches a player who freezes. It's what great players can do .

This is going to be brutal, stoke not arsed.

    Corner

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

    TAA looks the real deal.

    Very composed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Why would Origi try to take the ball down with half a field in front of him !!

    WTF

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Oceans of time and space when we do have it. Need to play better is all !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Has Klavan ever succeeded with a forward pass?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Woodburn going alone and Origi is off standing on the ****ing wing not even trying to get up to him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

Great play by Woodburn, nobody near him though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

What the fcuk is Origi at there? Support him ffs!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

Yes, but he was playing rugby at the time so was penalised.

Pathetic lack of support for Woodburn there

You can see what Liverpool are trying to do but the balls for Origi are not good enough yet, I'd just get TAA on the ball as much as possible.

This feels like the last game of the season. So much space in midfield for both teams.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,495 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Wee Joe's wee hamstring is gone. :(

This is a terrible game of football. Stoke are brutal. Liverpool look like we don't know what we are doing.

    Ham sandwich.

Poor Joe. Adams to come on to haunt us?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Pathetic lack of support for Woodburn there

Origi looked like he'd been on the pitch for 85 minutes when Woodburn was running, no desire to help him out.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Origi should have helped out more there. Stayed too wide. Even if he did get the ball what would he have done from there? Woodburn did well until he was ganged up on.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

    Charlie Adams coming on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

First shot on target was not a goal!

That's a booking for Shaqiri, just lumps Milner.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Woodburn now on the deck :(

/checks to see who is on the bench....

    Did he get booked though?

Typical Stoke booing an injured player.

    Sturridge on?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,379 ✭✭✭hefferboi

Typical from Lovren. He's such an average defender

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Lovren nearly with a creative assist.

    Lovren ya dope

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

I've always suspected that Lovren is our main defensive problem and he's just convinced me even more there.

    He's brainless.
