Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sunderland a funny side, they can match teams up to a point of collapse. They are but a cookie, once bitten it crumbles.

You lucky to have Ibrmaisabitch, has been a great signing.

    It's Ibrahimović.
    Try to spell it correctly.

Luke Shaw working hard to rescue his United career, last game and this.

great ball from ibra/shaw. captain fantastic unlucky not to score

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,465 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Sure any team is lucky to have their great players.....

Most team have to try hard and spend big to get them. He walked in unaided.
It was more his choice, he could have went to the Shy Knees and got 1 million a week to play there.

It's ok tho, getting a reaction out of a player is a negative when it's Jose

You realise you've just complimented united in your post.. Could have gone anywhere but choose united..WHat does that tell you?

Well it's not like he just turns up and said I want to play for you. The club did Perdue him and try to sign just like any other player.

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make.

Didn't make much contact, but if he did he could have done real damage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,403 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

The way the game is refereed these days is simply pure poison. No ****ing way is that a red.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

2 big decisions in 2 mins gone against Sunderland

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,737 ✭✭✭Hococop

Think the Coleman injury has more refs on edge with rougher tackles?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,546 ✭✭✭✭murpho999

    Terrible decision.

Are players not allowed to tackle anymore?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,249 ✭✭✭limnam

Exactly, if he does hit the knee and not graze it he could EASILY break him in two.

It's a red for me, super silly tackle.

    He rarely does.

    Of course it is.

You wouldn't say the same if it was a Utd player.

Could well be, its in the public consciousness ATM.

Still, the standard of reffing this season has been absolutely woeful, serious review needed during the off season.

studs up, nowhere near the ball

Herrera is always liable to assist in someone getting sent off.

One of the most unlikable players in the league.

    Everything is coming up Millhouse

Booing Herrera and he didn't even go down, fans are so silly sometimes.

    You are coming across bitter
How do you know what I'd say?

It was the correct call for a studs up challenge that if landed elsewhere could have been bad for Herrera

    Could have died!

Jesus Wept, wasn't even a foul, ball was long gone before any contact made.

Harsh enough but can see why it was given.

Hopefully we can bang in a few goals now and boost our confidence a little

He didn't jump in with intent to injure. Played the ball.

    It's a yellow at worst.

I just don't get how a player is supposed to attempt a sliding tackle without having studs up.

He's also pretty good with mind control.

He made the player lunge in with studs up half way up his leg..

Herrera with the assist on that red.

Something Suarez does too. A large portion of that red is the hand in the air and him hopping around.

Referees fall for it a stupidly large amount of the time.
