Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Very sloppy

WTF. Callanan beating Galway on his own.

Galway goalie should have stopped both goals

Shanahan in early, one sub they won't be able to call on with 20 to go.

Shocking goal to concede in an All-Ireland.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Two very soft goals conceded by Galway who have done all the hurling

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,576 ✭✭✭deaddonkey15

Did Brick walsh foul the ball there before that 2nd goal? He seemed to just touch it of his hurl to buy another few steps.

"Obviously Shane Bennett has picked up an injury"...........

Marty informs us as Shane Bennet is limping off after being sprawled on the ground

Taking points from outside the 65 is how Galway will win this and not giving away goals like that.

    Moran did.

RTE are doing their best not to dwell on it. But the Galway keeper has not been good at all today.

Galway need to try and create a goal or two.Crazy that they are level.

Scrappy game suits Waterford as Galway have the better hurlers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,168 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Ya, it's ridiculous that the sides are level after Galway playing all the hurling.

    Great sideline cut by Canning.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,948 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

An All Ireland Final deserves that kind of point from a sideline cut.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,704 ✭✭✭citykat

    Silence.

Waterford keeper is an accident waiting to happen imo.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,330 ✭✭✭✭namloc1980

Galway had 9 points after 14 minutes. Only 4 in the next 20. Waterford will be very happy with that.

The Galway keeper is an accident that's already happened.

It's stating the obvious but goals are so vital. There is no way this game should be level.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,704 ✭✭✭citykat

    Get off the pitch Dan.

Galway up by a point at ht

Galway tore into the lead, then gave away a couple of soft goals. They have played most of the hurling but Waterford still very much in it.

Great first half, ref seems to be letting a lot of fouls go judging by the lack of frees for either side. As a neutral of I'm slightly hoping Galway win, otherwise their goalie will get so much abuse for losing them six points

Galway should be further in front, much the better team so far.

Austin Gleeson needs to get more into the game, surely he's a bit wasted a bit at centre back,he always seems to me to be a bit of a free spirit of a player and midfield or the half forward line where he could have more positive influence would suit him better.

How are Galway not miles ahead. Has the look of one of those games where you could be asking "How did Galway not win that game?".

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,869 ✭✭✭PeterTheNinth

Paddy Power with another gratuitous attempt at getting on Liveline.

    It's a great ad.

A perfect example of how some of the fans will feel should their team win today.

    The goalkeeper. That's how.

Galway have to start tearing into the Waterford defense in the second half and score goals.
