I have been a mental health nurse for the past 17 years but I have come to a point where I know working for someone else is not for me anymore.

I would really like to start my own business in healthcare provision but my mortgage, bills etc and the pension and security of the job is holding me back.. any advice on what I should do?

    Thanks

What avenue do you plan on going? I'd say start small and see how it goes keep your job and as your business grows maybe drop down to part time. Best of luck with what ever you decide!

Many thanks for your reply. I'm thinking of the Home help business. It will be difficult to start when working full time. I'll put my thinking cap on again and see what I will do. Thanks again

Do you have a background in HR or management? Do you know the HSE procurement process well? That is a tough business without these skills and capabilities.

Is there some sort of specialised training you could provide perhaps?

Thanks for that. Yes I have 10 years management experience and I' have completed a HR course. I prob might just start small in the evenings and see how I go. Thanks for your advice.
