Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Help me please,

This was a game on the Megadrive I'm nearly sure.
My uncle owned it, but I remember he couldn't get past a certain place so he gave me a lend to show him how to beat it.

From memory you played as some animal or alien (I thought it was an elephant and googled games with elephants..but can't find it) or something.

Your ship has crashlanded on a planet, but not like ToeJam and Earl where it's a desolate place.
This planet seemed colorful and lively, it's also a side scroller (from memory)
You have to find all the parts for your ship...engine etc to piece it together to get off the planet.

The game wasn't particularly good ...from memory.

I've ran down the list of ALL genesis games on Wikipedia quickly to see if any stood out...but it's not standing out to me .

    Any ideas or help ?

First game I thought of from your description was Commander Keen, although it was a great game. Actually, might be a dos game now that I think of it.

I feel I know your game though.....

Nope, I also though the Ottifants was it...but doesn't seem to be it. It's story doesn't seem to have anything to do with a spaceship or parts.

I went back to Wikipedia and read through the list again, I can't see it being anything other than the Ottifants. But it just doesn't seem or feel right.
