    Hi All.

    I'm looking to purchase a shotgun and noticed that I'm required to complete a competency course. Would anyone now of where I could take one of these courses in the Galway area.

    A lot of Registered Firearms Dealers do one. I did mine in an RFD near me, so it's worth finding one near you and asking if they do one and when. I think I was charged around €20.

    Only thing is they might wait for a few people before they do one so you might be waiting a few days/weeks at worst.
