    I was looking forward to doing this event and now it was canceled suddenly. Does anyone know what happened?

    I can't find any information​ on this. Is there a press release or just idle speculation?

    Friend of mine was meant to be marshalling for this on motorbike. Got a call Monday to say it was canceled due to low numbers . He thought it was the ras itself so I was amazed, but it turned out to be the etape.

    Mystery solved and I guess this is the most common reason such events get cancelled. Thanks mossym.

    I did this last year, I signed up in advance but they would have allowed entry on the day. The weather was total sh1t so everyone in my group said they would wait and sign up on the day next year.

    Pity. They usually had a great event.
