Ding could've wrapped it up on that Red.

Fantastic clearance with all the pressure in the world on him.

Wow I didn't fancy him for it but he proved me wrong, what a break.

    Fair play to Ding.

    Held it together brilliantly.

Love him to go on and win it now.

Great to see there at the end .,two class acts I would love to see Ding win one

As others have said, I think Higgins is the only player left that can beat Selby this year, as he's the only one with the safety game to compete with him.

You almost have to out-Selby Selby to win.

Nerves of steel by Ding, especially because after how ruthlessly Ronnie cleared up the last frame, should be a fascinating game with Selby.

Ronnie was very warm towards him at the end, nice to see.

I hope the stat that all the players who beat Ronnie at Q/F stage all go on to be World Champion in the same year stays this year.
Hope he gives the torturer a good going over in the Semi!!

Hoping for a Hawkins - Ding final. But Ding showed great mental fortitude in that final frame.

Maguire is offensively overweight. You're a professional sportsman have some pride. I'd say it's a factor over a long 2 weeks at the crucible.

Darts players can get away with it.

They don't play for potentially 10 hours a day. Very few snooker world champions were fatty's.

Can someone outline the appeal of John Higgins.

John Higgins looks like an overly friendly guy you'd meet in the pub who laughs st his own just jokes.

He's a tidy snooker player though

    they/them/theirs

And so on, and so on …. - Slavoj Žižek

    He's no Mark Allen.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Maguire played really well to get back to 9:9 but that fluke by the Hawk in frame 19 must have been tough to take for him. This game could go to a decider!

Barry with another huge stroke of luck.

I really hope Mags wins this. Hawkins has had outrageous luck this session.

Really hope Hawkins does it this year, probably deserves it more than anyone as he's been consistently knocking on the door for 5 years now.

Also backed him so there's that.
