Why didn't Selby play this badly against Ding!!

Also it's Selby, next person to say Shelby gets a beating. :pac:

I wonder how long it will be before players are allowed use their phones while they are sat out. They'd be live tweeting - "check out the luck of this pr?ck!"

I had a couple of people who I had previously put on ignore from a different forum appear in this thread. Had a quick peek at an ignored post and quickly realised that my ignoring them was a good idea.

He definitely played it, JV is half asleep.

That was a crazy fluke that he missed the red for the plant but the white had a Rick O Shea on to red he meant to hit and in doing so hit the intended plant that gladly rolled into pocket.

It's not just a case of Selby playing badly, Higgins is playing really well bar a couple of loose shots. He's really upped his game for the final. Selby needs 2 of the next 3 and even at that he's in trouble I feel

Selby now 13/8 , still short.
Thought he's be 4-1 at this stage, 6 behind.

I'm hoping any posters who gamble heeded my advice all day because you'll all be cashing in big if this carries on (which it will) ;)

I would imagine that it was a combination of having a particular talent and temperament in the first place and then gradually improving on that until they both got to a position where they know exactly what they are talking about.

So when they won for example, 2 worlds, they wouldnt have known what they were talking about, or what was required to win at that stage?

Cue Selby reeling off 3 frames in a row with centuries :pac:

Didn't you also tell us to back Ding to win by a few frames the last day after Selby changed his tip? ;)

This is going to be some comeback from Selby! :pac:
