    Fantastic! Wouldn't begrudge either the victory but delighted it was Mark. Came back after getting a hiding yesterday and again tgis eveing when John stuck a few frames together. Savage stuff, deserved champion. 3 in 4, you can't deny his talent.

    Shame we didn't get a deciding frame, but at least Higgins made a game of it and it lasted until 11, fair play to Selby, not the most popular, but definitely the toughest player I've ever seen.

    Fair play to Mark Selby. Incredibly impressive coming back from 10-4 to win, and he's been absolutely superb today, great shot selection, great safety play, just all round class, can't take away from him, and over the tournament he's simply been the best player, no arguments to be made otherwise tbh.

    But John Higgins threw it away. He utterly collapsed today, and only kicked into gear 3 frames too late to have any realistic chance. Thankfully, his resurgence kept the match going and gave us some really entertaining frames in this last session, and made it a really enjoyable final. Hard to see Higgins ever being back at this point again tbh.

    Very annoying MC

    Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.
