North Korea would be taken out by now, if it had no nuclear weapons. America is shooting down planes, bombing Syrian troops, faking chemical attacks in Syria. Would you trust them to leave you alone after what happened to Libya and Iraq?

North Korea has no nuclear weapons. They are still at the development stage. It's the potential conventional weapons threat to SK that has saved them.

The Kims could feed every person, if they opened up the economy, co-operated with South on economic projects, allowed rural people to grow and sell their own produce and cut military spending by 75%.

The only superpower next door is China. South Korea and a paltry 25 000 US troops present no threat.

They have tried to open up the economy, but incidents and tensions always get in the way. Lets not forget Kaesong Industrial Region. Lets not forget NK rarely tested missiles during Obama 8 years of Presidency. Trump came out of the gate saying he's going to do something about North Korea, only then, did NK start launching missiles every month. It was Americans who started this all off and they then claim, we did nothing we innocent.

They tested a nuke in 2006. That's 11 years ago. Can they miniaturize it for an ICBM is the debate. Personally i think they can.

The US already have attacked Iran. They unleashed the Stuxnet malware on the centrifuges they were using to process nuclear materials. It is said that this attack put Iran's nuclear program back by 5 years. This was preferable to directly attacking Iran by putting boots on the ground, or launching air strikes. It is a tactic that Trump should take up with North Korea if he had any sense.

Said by whom? The liars who told us Iraq had WMDs?

Preferable to attacking Iran? Wow, thank you America for not commiting another war crime.

Allegedly. Where is the pictures of dead Soviet soldiers or captured POW's at camps. There is none. America just creates myths to justify their large scale invasion of Korea.

It's was all confirmed by classified documents released after the fall of soviet union.

    Stop making stuff up

And there was weapons tests during the Obama administration , mostly failed launches for some reason or another ,

So yes nothing really has changed

If there Soviet troops fighting, large numbers, they are going to be killed or captured. You think the Americans would not photograph this?

Testing a missile every 6 months, is a non event. Since Trump took office Kim has tested 14 different types of missiles. Trump threatening to take out NK, was he expecting no reaction?

America didn't publicise it because they didn't want to get drawn into direct conflict with Russia ,
Like the 400 odd russian jets shot down piloted by Russian officer under command of the Kremlin not volunteers actual full airforce units ,

Just like russia didn't publicise shooting down of Americn aircraft .

So no real conspiracy there unfortunately

There are no good options in dealing with North Korea. It could be wiped of the map in a matter of fours but the problem is they would probably get a shot at Seoul.
The other countries just want it contained, if the country collapsed it would create a massive refugee crisis for South Korea and China, imagine having to assimilate millions of brain washed people.

60 years after the war you serious? They would have taken Photos and classified it. There probably was soldiers born in the Soviet Union who went and helped North Korea, but there was no huge armies crossing the border to fight the South.

400 + aircraft shot down (shot down only) hundreds more survived this is no small figure and that's just the ones shot down , pilots , ground crew , specialist engineer's,
Command units ,radar operations , ground forces ,naval forces , supply operations,

U-boats traveled from France to Ireland even beyond that. That's 1940 technology. You really think 1960 subs can't travel further? You have to ignore Western Intelligence. The very same people who talk about NK subs said NK was 3 to 4 years away from firing an ICBM that could reach America.

Oh dear. Its not about the range of the things. Submarine technology has advanced a bit since ww2 you know.

The ocean all around the north pacific is covered by sonar detectors that are designed to detect submarines. Old style diesel engines subs would never get through undetected. Modern quiet nuclear (electric) engines are much more stealthy and likely to get by undetected.

Kim Il-sung and his spawn have been a disaster for Korea.
Regime change (if possible) and at least two generations of transition to reunification seems to be the best option.
One thing is for sure....this nonsense can't go on for much longer.

The Soviets did not join the war. You need to stop googling websites to support this ridiculous belief.

It amazes me how easy it still is to fool people. You think people would wake up after that Iraq and WMD fakery of 2003. I guess this kind of thing does not bother you?

There's highly decorated soviet fighter aces who shot down many American aircraft during the Korean war, and were recognized by the soviet air force. They flew Russian jets for the Russian air force. No clandestine stuff about it.

Check the Wikipedia on "Mig Alley".

The Pacific ocean space is wide and huge. If you think they can cover every square inch of it you're wrong. You don't need to be even near the America coastline to fire a missile. Even if the submarine got detected, how long does it take to respond and find it?

    Yes they did fact.

    Stop blaming Google ,

Alternative history and opinions goes down quicker than a Russian aircraft in Turkish airspace

So what if a few Soviet pilots helped North Korea? That's not the same as what America did. They brought in hundreds of thousands of troops, tanks, ships, artillery, aircraft.

The Soviets did not declare war on South Korea, that's just another myth, you likely googled online?

Soviet Union. If you can provide proof of soviet dead, POW prisoners, name battles where the Soviet soldiers fought, i listen. A few pilots looking for adventure and glory, is not enough evidence.

    Im unclear.

    Whats your point?

Diesel engined subs are just as stealthy as nuclear subs?

Or you consider the ocean so gigantic nobody could possibly track a submarine through it?
