Can you tell me the last time there was a democratic election in North Korea?

When was the last time America had a democratic voting system?

True but hes also has limitations placed on him by congress so he cant do everything he likes. He's also held reasonably accountable as well if he really does something out of bounds.
Nonsense. Korean war and it was America who put boots on the ground. China and Soviet Union did not attack South Korea and did not even do it during the Vietnam war. Less time watching Rambo, will do you good.

Bull**** alert: The soviet union was helping covertly as they didnt want to get into a direct conflict with the US and China intervened because the communists had only recently siezed power there and Mao was wanting to impress Stalin at the time. If they hadnt intervened the US forces would've ended the Korean War in favour of the south without a doubt.

    Historical stuff is not historical

Individuals with strong personal world views often try to rearrange history, distort facts, spread disinformation and reject overwhelming historical consensus to suit their own personal world views and narratives. Sometimes unknowingly (I hope)

Partisan revisionism, well known by historians.

We know this to be false. The victors in war write the history books. Independent investigation is the only way to find out the real truth. Obviously some things can't be denied if the evidence is strong enough to support it.

Odd you have zero evidence to support your cliams

China and Soviet Union was not interested in starting a major war, good for them. America was more interesting in fighting communism, that's about it. They should have just let the Korean people at it, and maybe today there would be no nuclear missiles pointed at them.

tell that to the 1 Million+ south vietnamese sent to re-education camps after the fall of saigon. The nearly 2 million vietnamese boat people who fled the country after the war would also disagreee with your benign assessment of what happened after the war.

The people who fled Vietnam (the boat people) were mostly ethnic Chinese...the exodus began in 1979 when China and Vietnam had a major falling out resulting in some military clashes along the border.
The ethnic Chinese who had been living in Vietnam for generations bore the brunt of Vietnamese anger towards China.

True, but it is a risk in any representative parliamentary system as well, to include Ireland. It has happened in the U.K. in the 1950s, for example.

It will come, but it will be global warming that will the catalyst that kicks it off.

When that plus the nuclear war to grab others resources will be over "the herd" will be well "culled" and good focking riddance.

I just hope Earth's other creatures survive to one day see a better future.

You keep swallowing what western media tell you sheeple. I suppose they didnt blow the dams in N.Korea to smithereens or the Sinchon massacre was a myth where the South Koreans and U.S killed around 35 thousand civilians in a little over a month.

Certainly a great indication of a well grounded, sound, wise, and thoughtful argument is the inclusion of labels like "Sheeple."

Rattle that sabre harder fat boy!
North Korea says its plan to fire four missiles near the US territory of Guam will soon be ready, as a war of words with Washington intensifies.
State media said Hwasong-12 rockets would pass over Japan and land in the sea about 30km (17 miles) from Guam, if the plan was approved by Kim Jong-un.
It denounced Donald Trump's warnings of "fire and fury" and said the US leader was "bereft of reason".
The US has warned the North its actions could mean the "end of its regime".
US Defence Secretary Jim Mattis said Pyongyang would be "grossly overmatched" in any war against the US and its allies.

Just how hard are NK prepared to push the US?
Is it really a battle of wills now and they hope the US will back down.

Or the US hopes they will back down ;)...It's a game that's being going on for 60 years.

Nothing will happen unless one of them totally oversteps the mark...North Korea won't they are playing the game so long now they know how far to go.

But the Trump regime is another matter, new to the game and arrogant and thick, and that's a dangerous combination.

Agreed, nothing will happen here. It's bluster on both sides by 2 spoilt brats.
