Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

    I wish to have my email address removed from your database. I have received emails from you in error, as I am no longer a customer of Bank of Ireland for a number of years now. Additionally, I cannot send you an email to the address listed: MailMonitor@boimail.com because of your server policy not to accept emails, I then cannot send you the request to have my email address removed. Please remove my email address, I will send you my email address by private message on request.

    You have disallowed the sending of private messages on your profile:
    Bank of Ireland: Sarah has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.<br />< br /> If you are trying to send this message to multiple recipients, remove Bank of Ireland: Sarah from the recipient list and send the message again.

    It's a legal requirement to have a unsubscribe link. Put a complaint in. Get them fined.

    Is it even from Boi? Lots of spam emails going around which could be from a 3rd party phishing.

    Thanks Eire,
    I have sent my complaints to the Data Protection Commissioner, I am no longer a customer of the bank for a few years now. I receive spam/phishing emails which are spoofed as from the bank on a regular basis which certainly gives me the impression that the security of the information they have stored on me is not very secure at all, and I would very much like to have it completely removed. This particular email is not a phishing scam and almost certainly came directly from the marketing department at Bank of Ireland.
    Hopefully they dont still have some hidden dormant account open from me or something, generating all kinds of fees and interest charges for them on the sly...

    The phishing emails are not because you were a Boi customer. They're sent to every individual on a list they've got from something you've signed up to over the years.
