I was just gonna ask what the tax was on it but now that's it's essentially a worthless car I don't care!

    Ya, I spotted that.
I haven't and won't be ringing, but my call is they are both dud adverts.
Should the advert be reported to donedeal or would a man need to call the number first to confirm its a fake?

A clio williams for €500? I think it's safe to assume it's fake.

Never understood this logic - getting in and out is what wears the seat, not the distance travelled.

    What do you mean?

Getting in and out is exactly what wears the seat.

    Hence.

"The car looks like it has more than 60k on it"

    Meaning..

    Could be dodgy.

I'm saying seat wear does not relate to mileage. It's just one of those things we're programmed to think without ever questioning it. One of my cars had 30 odd k miles on it when I bought it, the seat bolster was properly knackered and on more than one occasion somebody commented, based on this alone, that the mileage must be doctored. I have every single invoice and MOT from new to confirm the mileage - The PO just did a lot of very short trips, sliding in and out of the car without going anywhere.

That S80 won't set the world on fire, but throw on an LPG kit and you have a cheap mega mile muncher!

This looks like an absolute bargain:

I was meant to put that in quotations. I'm not saying the seat is worn. I didn't even click on the ad.

Someone else did I think. The thing is 60k miles is not really that low so some wear has to be expected but as far as the seat in that car goes it looks perfectly fine.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Could be an honest mistake, badges put up there by previous owner. Both cars (Mk3 ST 3l and Mk4 Ghia 2.5) have similar power and performance. And the Mk4 has the Volvo 5-pot engine - same as in the Focus ST. Hell I'd prefer that over the V6 in the Mk3 Mondeo ST.
