So many refusing to put interior pics. the seats could be caked in **** for all anyone is to know. The interior is where youll be sitting. Once the outside hasnt any damage or if there is then it shown, do we really need 9 pictures of it?

Ah but that means clearing out all the rubbish and hoovering, for the outside you've just to drive through the car wash or better yet just wait for it to rain...

They stopped selling them I think last year.

Possibly some unsold ones in a yard somewhere.

Hard to believe the Punto was once a key part of the small car landscape with the Mk 1.

I saw a 191 rental. Just checked there and there were 33 regged so far this year.

As you say. They stopped building them (in Italy anyway) last year. They’re still building the GP based Siena in Brazil

I have a bit of a soft spot for these. Owned one a good few years back and it never let me down once. I always think they fly under the radar a little when people are looking for Jap reliability (Corolla/Civic)
Maybe I got lucky with my one and they are not that good?
A lot cheaper than a similar year Corolla anyway!

All NCT'd, respectable looking and asking in and around the €1k mark

    2007 - https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/07-mitsubishi-lancer/21879569

    2006 - https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2006-mitsubishi-lancer-nct-10-19-tax-08-19/21820271

    2005 - https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/mitsubisi-lancer-1-3-new-nct-01-2020/21792092
They aren't that much cheaper and aren't built anywhere near as good as the others you mentioned.

The newer 08+ model is a good bit better than the 03-07 lancers though. The engine is a big improvement and it was one of the few petrol cars that had lower tax on co2 compared to cc based tax (1.5 manual).

    Bye%202_zps3jbqqsfy.jpg

So checking in after a long while.

The 08 407 sw i bought here off another boardsie (Laurpat) is running very well. Beyond refreshing the air con in it at the first sign of hot weather last month (which a friend was able to do), it hasn't needed any work. Its going in for a service this week to keep it ticking over.

It came to me in such good condition that i've been giving it extra TLC inside and out over my previous 407.

And also we are due to hit a milestone in terms of kms - took this earlier this morning as i pulled up to work. It will tick over the 100K mark during lunch i should imagine.

    480745.JPG

So all in all, still delighted with the car! :)

Terrible ad, but this looks alright. Any reasonable offer around 550-600 should take this, with 4x4 and a years test.

    Cheap motoring.

Just on a side note - quick question....
Anybody here notice this evening that Donedeal is no longer offering a sort option when using a PC?

EG. I used Filters on left hand side and chose BMW 5 series 2008 - 2008 and there is no longer an option on the right to sort by highest price/lowest price/newest ad etc

    dd.jpg

[EDIT]OK. It looks like they have now added it to the bottom of filters on the left hand side!![/EDIT]

Just had a look there and it's down the left hand side towards the bottom. Weird placement tbf.

You'd never say its a 2k car and around europe you'd pay way more for it.
The engine though isn't supposed to be the best if I remember correctly?

I have a massive love for these - getting very scare now and wagons are even rarer :

    NWVlNmJhMTQyN2YxMmE2ZDY2Y2VmMGJmNTlmZTQ3MjS-QFuz9eeossKUUXjLI7n9aHR0cDovL3MzLWV1LXdlc3QtMS5hbWF6b25hd3MuY29tL2RvbmVkZWFsLmllLXBob3Rvcy9waG90b18xMjQ4Mjg1NDJ8fHw2MDB4NjAwfHx8fHx8fHw=.jpeg

Test till August which isn't brilliant (seller should really test again now for sale) - but its very low miles and has recently had belt and pump done. Car looks clean and ad seems honest -

Wonder what the odds of something like that on classic insurance are?

Cam belt and water pump done at 47K km, yea but when was that. That could have been a few years ago due to the low mileage on car.

Shouldn't matter. Im currently doing pump and belt change on one. 5 times the milage and seeing as has been in family since new i know its been absolutly donkies years since it was done. Even if it does go its non interference in her.
