Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What game are you watching? It's pretty dogcrap poor from both teams so far really.
Think your describing games involving united there;)It isn't that hard watching it, in comparison to international games for example

How can they be outraged when they're being called on such blatant fouls?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

High balls will not work against West Brom. Can someone relay that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,105 ✭✭✭mada999

i dont know whats wrong there... you can't jump on someones back..

No one should pass to Milner from the CB/DM positions unless he is well beyond the halfway line.

    because
Fullbacks must love coming up against Milner on the left, his first touch is always back towards his own goal.

if he is inside the opposition third at least there is a chance he'll find Coutinho or Can.

Well if Ireland games are your benchmark, nearly every game is entertaining!

Shaping up to be a typical Liverpool performance for the season. Fully expect West Brom to win this 1 or 2 nil.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,679 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

Origi wasting possession. The game has panned out exactly as expected it's fair to say.

14 touches. None of them good

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,105 ✭✭✭mada999

fewest touches by a Liverpool player - Origi . he's too placid... needs to bomb in and get the ball.. Come on son

Is there anyone who hasn't expected this to play out exactly the way it has. I fully expect a 65th minute McAuley goal and they'll get another in injury as Liverpool commit everyone forward.

this game made for Lucas or Can not both.. but who do we have on the bench ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

I've never expected less from a set-piece, beat the first man ffs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,679 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

This game needs a few yellow cards and a lot more goalmouth action to shake it up a bit

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,105 ✭✭✭mada999

Finally a yellow.. now target him for the rest of the game and get him sent off please...

Mignolet must have a foot shaped like a sand wedge. He always chips his kicks up in the sky rather than getting his foot behind it properly.

Get in! Exactly the kind of goal you'd expect Liverpool to concede, nice to see someone else fall asleep at the back.

Hahahaha holy fcuk we've scored from a set-piece no way. And against West Brom too!

And from a set-piece, too, pick the nuts out of that, Pulis, you four-star.

Beyond being small timers, they thought Brunt should not have got pulled up for his pull on Origi which created the free kick.

My Google notifications told me Liverpool scored before my stream did :-/

Brilliant time to score by Pool, can't see any way back into this for West Brom now :(

The only thing I can think of too. It was one of the clearer fouls you'll ever see. Hopefully Brunt will get a second yellow early in the second half.

Make no mistakes that was still a shíte free kick :pac:

Ah now. Have you not watched Liverpool defend this season, or indeed for the last 6 seasons?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

West Brom will be out to play now, they'll get chances and we'll need to score a second while they're pushing on.

With West Brom attacking more i expect Pool to score at least once more so even if they let in a goal they will be fine

If they do what they did in the first they'll get chances. I'd expect you to play a bit deeper to cut out those balls over the top.

Hopefully not at the third or fourth attempt!
Kill them off early please lads.

Again, I'm going to stick with the 'fans always pessimistic of their own team' line on this one. West Brom will score at least once in the second half. Whether we do or not is a different matter. We're definitely favs to win the game, but it is far from a done deal.

Were they booing at nothing there?

When was the last time a team got a player sent off against us by the way? Seems a long time ago. I'm not implying there is a conspiracy, just wondering.
