    I took my car to coolmine motors a few years back and they told me that is needed a few things fixed. It was costing €1200.
    I got a 2nd opinion from Phillp Walsh (https://www.paxad.ie/pwalshautoservices). He told me that there was wear and tear but not everything coolmine said needed fixed, had to be done. The bill was €240. I've been taking my car back to him ever since.

    I would still highly recommend them, I had an issue with an overheating engine recently and they fixed it for €60. I'd been quoted €500+ elsewhere for a timing belt replacement that was not necessary.
