Rat poison after 10 years

    10 years ago we had rats underneath the garden shed. We threw a box of poison under it and killed them all off.

    However we are now due to take up the shed. Would the rat poison still be viable or would it degrade?

    We have 3 dogs and don't want them poisoned.

    I wouldn't take a chance on it. Best to dig away that area.

    That's what I was thinking. We have a patio going down in a week, just won't be able to let dogs into the garden till it's done.
